How to Decompress & be Stress-Free for the Holidays

Well, here they are! The holidays are here once again and with it comes a plethora of feelings. Excitement, joy, sadness, stress, etc. The holidays bring up a lot of emotions, whether you’re hosting your first holiday Christmas party and feeling nervous, or seeing your out-of-town family members who you haven’t seen in awhile, to remembering those who you cannot celebrate with anymore. I know all of those feelings too well. Whatever your situation may be, my heart is with you! It’s especially important to remember to take care of you, who is busy taking care of others. Today, I’ve gathered some tips, tricks, and some affordable items to help you decompress and reduce your holiday stress so you can spend more time enjoying the season. RELAX. I know, easier said than done. But seriously, force yourself to take a chill pill. I’m especially bad at this, but there comes a time when you have to lock yourself in a room for even 5 minutes to just breathe and collect your thoughts.
