Well, 2018 is just about here! While I’m usually very sad that the holidays are over, I’m actually pretty excited for what this year has in store. I’m excited to spend more time curating content for my blog, getting closer to getting my graphic design degree, and we’ve got some trips planned, too!

For starters, my photography and graphic design have really taken off. (Yes, I do that, too!!) I’ve had the opportunity to brand two salons, photograph four weddings and tons of family clients. All without advertising myself… so that was a huge accomplishment! One of the main reasons why I haven’t advertised my side businesses this year is because – well – I’ve got a lot going on. I’ve been trying to just be “still” with my life, and let things come as they do. And they did! I love my clients and am so grateful for them, as I wouldn’t be where I am without them.
We became San Francisco Giants Baseball Season Ticket Holders. Talk about a lifelong dream come true. Matt and I both have loved the Giants since we were kids and that was one of the main things that bonded us together when we were dating. We would constantly be going to baseball games, sometimes three games in one week! So this year we were approached with the opportunity to become season ticket holders (split with a couple other people) and we’ve gotten to enjoy sitting in the same beautiful seats for 25+ games throughout the year!
I became a mom… DOG mom! Well, that’s not entirely true. We got Sadie in July of 2016, but I got to watch her grow up and become such a great dog this year! She’s reached new heights… No, really… her tail is the perfect height that aligns with the coffee table, so she’s constantly knocking things over. I’ve got to experience unconditional love between Matt, Sadie and myself. We’re the three best friends that anyone could have!
We went to EUROPE!! For my best friend’s college graduation celebration, we hopped on a plane and went to Munich, Germany, Bern, Switzerland, and Lake Como, Italy. We had such a blast, and we are so blessed to have had the opportunity to go. It was definitely the highlight of the year and we got to experience true German Beer Gardens in the summertime. The last time we went to Munich was in November, so they were all closed! We got to see the beautiful Swiss Alps and eat fondue, and go to Italy and eat our weight in pizza and gelato. (No, we didn’t see George!).
2017 has been great to us, and if 2018 is half as great as 2017 was, we’ll be thrilled! We are so blessed to have experienced all of what 2017 offered us, and thank God every day for our opportunities!
Thank you all for being loyal readers and supporting me along the way! I can’t wait for what 2018 has in store for all of us!
