Transitional Spring Outfit Under $100!

Hey friends! Happy Saturday! This is a post I’m SO excited to share with you. In Northern California, we’re getting into temperatures 70s and up! No rain in sight… which makes me really sad because I LOVE the rain and cloudy weather. BUT. Looking on the bright side (hehe, get it?), I love spending time outside and not having my hair frizz as soon as I step outside.

This beautiful Saturday morning, Matt and I visited City Garden Doughnut shop, a fairly new establishment to Santa Rosa. I’ve heard people gushing over their doughnuts, so we decided to give it a try, and boy… DANGER!!! These doughnuts are SO good, I wanted all of them! But I did stop myself at 1 doughnut and a nitro-brewed coffee. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend this place!! Look them up here.
Okay, now on to the fashion-side of this post. I picked up this entire outfit (minus the bag) at Target the other day and let me tell you… I’m in LOVE with it! The entire ensemble (down to the socks) was under $100!!! The jeans were on clearance for $14, and I think you can never have too many black jeans. The top is a new brand launching in Target now, called Universal Thread and was $20. Actually, they were JUST putting this top on the rack when I went shopping so I literally snatched it as it was coming out. I knew I loved it from the first time I saw it, lol! I have also been on the lookout for a lightweight top that can be worn multiple ways. I love that this top has a super cute and feminine knot (which you can untie, of course). I wore it with high-waisted jeans and sneakers from DV Dolce Vita for Target for a more casual look. Scroll down to bottom of this post for links to shop this look.
I’m excited to wear this top in the summer with denim shorts and my beloved Birkenstocks!
I hope you all have a SPLENDID SATURDAY!!!
